Watergate’s Hunt allegedly believed Kennedy assassination tied to alien revelations

American intelligence officer E. Howard Hunt, well known for his “plumbers” role in the Nixon White House, revealed “that President John F. Kennedy was killed for his attempts to expose the reality of the alien presence and share it with our Russian Cold War adversaries,” according to Watergate lawyer and author Douglas Caddy.

Caddy shared the information in a video interview with “Dark Journalist” reporter Daniel Liszt published on June 29, 2015 (seen at the top of the story).

Caddy was brought in by Hunt to serve as the attorney for the Watergate burglars who broke into the Democratic National Committee June 17, 1972, and additionally represented Texas businessman Billy Sol Estes who sought to reveal details of President Lyndon Johnson’s participation in the JFK Assassination.

Hunt and Caddy were personal friends and in their final meeting, according to Caddy, Hunt revealed that Kennedy was killed for his attempts to disclose an alien presence.

A famous alleged Kennedy memo to the CIA Director asking for access to UFO files was dated November 12, 1963, just 10 days before Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, TX, and Vice President Johnson was quickly installed as President.

Memo from President John F. Kennedy to CIA Director asking for UFO information, dated November 12, 1963, allegedly released to Author William Lester under the Freedom of Information Act.

UPDATE 7/13/2015:

Editor’s note: I received an email from a couple of veteran UFO researchers who cast further doubt on the validity of the Kennedy UFO memo. Apparently, having read the story, UFO researcher and author Raymond Fowler emailed UFO government document specialist Brian Greenwood to ask him what he knew about the Kennedy Memo. Fowler sent me Greenwood’s response:

Ray,

The document was said to surface from a Dr. William Lester who wrote a book on Kennedy. Shortly after this was disputed by a Scott Waring who included the text it in a UFO book previous to Lester. In neither case was there any provenance for the document. The JFK library disputed its authenticity, saying they didn’t have any copy of it despite the fact that Kennedy kept carbons of everything. If it was released under FOIA, which was said to have happened, it had to come from an authorized source. No FOIA cover letter has surfaced asserting its release either. I had been to the JFK Library in years past looking for UFO documents. All I found were a few ordinary citizen letters and a comic book about the Miracle of Fatima.

  1. E. Howard Hunt was not a credible source of anything. He was in the business of telling lies. He already gave a recorded confession to his son, Saint John Hunt, in 2004, which was to be released after his death (in 2007). That confession had nothing to do with alien visitation. Instead, it was the usual disinformation tactic of mixing truth with fiction. The most comprehensive and valid research on the JFK assassination was done by Lamar Waldron, with his most recent book on the subject, “The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination”. The only connection between the JFK assassination and UFOs is that both subjects have been covered up by the same obfuscation tactics of clouding the atmosphere with so much garbage as to make the truth nearly invisible.

I’m not necessarily buying this. JFK’s fate was long sealed before the alleged “UFO Memo”. JFK had indicated several times his “hands were tied” on the UFO issue. even though he’d been reported to have seen “things from outer space” during some classified time in New Mexico (SEE; the authenticated “Marilyn Monroe” Document). Could it have been a “final nail”? yes, but not the main reason.

  3. John, you offer no credentials for your opinion. I’m a historian who has researched Hunt and the assassination, plus Watergate and ufo’s/e.t.’s. There is no best book on the murder. Read them all. Don’t rely on anyone who calls one the bible on the case. Hunt came clean with his son. Why? It was his son, obviously. The lawyer is merely one form of corroboration. For the best book on the JFK hit and ufos, read Michael Salla PhD’s book Kennedy’s Last Stand. It is a must read.

  4. George LoBuono writes:
“John, you offer no credentials for your opinion.”

Since when does someone need to present credentials to offer an opinion in a discussion?

The UFO field is heavily-populated by individuals with bogus “credentials”.

As for myself, I have been an attorney since 1979. As a trial attorney, I developed a bit of expertise on exposing liars and unsupportable “expert witness” testimony. For example, I had an article published in the second issue of Shepard’s Expert and Scientific Evidence Quarterly concerning a case I successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit concerning bogus expert witness testimony.

Taking a close look at your message to me, you state that with respect to the JFK assassination:
“There is no best book on the murder. Read them all.”

Nevertheless, at the conclusion of your message, you state that Salla’s book on the JFK hit is “the best book” on the matter. If we are to believe your prior statement that there is no such “best book”, your assertion about Salla’s book is a non-sequitur.
