SETI teaming up with USC

SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) has gained an ally in the search for extraterrestrial life—the University of Southern California (USC). A statement was released on Wednesday, announcing the agreement between the two institutions to conduct joint research and education programs.

USC’s leading astronomy program will greatly assist SETI’s hunt for extraterrestrial life, while USC’s students and faculty will benefit from gaining access to SETI facilities like their radio telescopes.

SETI also collaborates with UC Berkeley.
