Unfortunately, as has been previously stated by theoretical physicist (and Royal Society member) Stephen Hawking, some scientists are suggesting that Earth needs to “prepare for the worst.” Simon Conway Morris, a professor of evolutionary palaeobiology at Cambridge University, explains that life elsewhere will most likely have similarities to life on Earth, including “tendencies towards violence and exploitation.” Morris jumped even further with his assumptions by stating that, “If intelligent aliens exist, they will look just like us, and given our far from glorious history, this should give us pause for thought.”
In the Royal Society’s latest publication, scientists also examine how contact with extraterrestrial life might affect politics and religion.
The topic of extraterrestrial life is not a new one for the Royal Society. They have gathered several times in the past to discuss various issues related to extraterrestrial life, including one assembly that took place in January of 2010 where representatives from NASA, the European Space Agency, and the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs were present to discuss the consequences for science and society if/when extra-terrestrial life is discovered, among other things.
The Royal Society is a Fellowship of the world’s most eminent scientists and is the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence, according to their website.
It would appear that the existence of E.T(‘s) is no longer a matter of debate. Since the scientific community has already accepted this reality and are finally seeking to orchestrate legitimate contacts, it would be prudent for powerful governments to come clean with all of the information they quite obviously have. A truly giant leap for man kind would be to eliminate archaic foreign and domestic policy’s of secrecy and denial. Knowledge is power, the power to change the future for all man kind.
I like the fact that this topic is being discussed among people with power to affect policy. It’s time to disclose, it’s long since been time to disclose. It seems a good percent of the worlds population believe that we are being visited, I think we can handle it now. It concerns me though that there’s all this talk of defense, it’s good to be prepared and we should be “hope for the best, but prepare for the worst”, but this preperation could also ignite another arms race or another world war. Any race of beings with the ability to visit other worlds certainly has a huge edge on us so it’s important this be a world-wide effort, on the other hand I’d hate to see any knee-jerk reactions made against something we do not understand as benevolent. I think it’s ridiculous and irresponsible to make assupmtions that “they” will be like us…certainly they’d be more evolved than us, that could very well equate to a peaceful race. Don’t panic people before the people even know for crying out loud.
It’s been public knowledge for quite some time now – despite the mainstream media’s efforts – that the real powers that be use “Bad Guys” to “motivate’ us away from our freedoms. First it was the Soviets, now the terrorists and soon, when it is to “Their” advantage, it will be the skewed disclosure of the extra-terrestrials. Not to say that most E.T.s aren’t downright evil with regard to their intentions toward us / not to say that some aren’t even sympathetic toward us. Simply put, we are being prepared by Hawking, this scientific “establishment” organization and other instruments of the corrupt power behind the scenes to surrender more of our freedoms upon “realization” of an E.T. threat while “They” enjoy cures for cancer, zero point energy, anti-gravity and laughing all the way to the bank. In reality, the sympathetic E.T.s probably can’t intervene without risking our annihilation, the Greys and Reptilians are too deeply intrenched and running the show – and we will still lick the boot of medical “treatment” payments, tax payments, energy payments and imprisonment in a system by the system, for the system and of the system – so help us anyone but God (whom they’re erasing from our culture because He’s the only hope we’ve got). Only when we stand up as one and fight back can we regain our Constitution, our freedoms and any hope of enjoying the life full of miracles suppressed by a secret government we all know is hiding such miracles behind closed doors marked “Lethal Force Authorized.” On a lighter note: thank you Open Minds for being one of the rare “real news” organizations that are committed to telling us things that matter as opposed to politics as usual and what the latest California bimbo is doing now. Make no mistake readers, there will be conflict when “it hits the fan”, and the best course of actions IS ABSOLUTELY to prepare for the worst and HOPE and WORK for the best. Please remember that even if E.T.I(s) do not share our psychologies, they know how powerful they are in comparison to humanity, something that we will become very acclimated to rather quickly.Surely before any real conflict could transpire. Do not fear the power of the corrupt. The power of free will and independent thought will drive humanity into the proper, peaceful/open/productive, direction. The number of humans with true intentions and open minds is not only MUCH greater then that of the oppressive, but must be readily apparent to those who have been watching us for so many thousands of years as well. Do not expect to be bailed out saved by “god” or E.T.I, from the evils that pervade the universe. It is our responsibility alone to take care of ourselves and each other. I relish the day when we draft the Declaration of Independence From Tyranny, and world leaders effect a Constitution of Humanity.
I like the fact that this topic is being discussed, but what irks me the most is that parallel to this is the fact that many scientists keep stating that we should prepare for aliens to be hostile. Then, they dare use humans as an example to state what aliens “could” be like. That type of “scientific thinking” is atrociously wrong, considering that the only evolutionary model we have is based one one planet. And we surely do not even know how precise that is, as that is still debated much in academia. An assumption is something we cannot afford to have. Not when so much is at stake.
At the risk of being “nit -picky”…
I truly believe that the scientists in question are simply doing what researchers do best. Formulate educated hypotheses in order to better examine a given phenomenon. This is the first step in the time worn, proven effective, Scientific Method which has guided all of the greatest minds of humanity. That is not to say that some if not many of those will eventually be dis proven, but simply to regard these ideas with the utmost sincerity and sound logic. FYI!! Contact has already been made…do you really think there is no evidence of this??? How nieve of you. how very anthropocentric of you. I worked with an organization for 15 years that met with witnesess and gathered evidence of this. These “ETs” have been comming to this blue planet for a very long time, and they have left records of their visits. One does not have to look far to find the overwhelming evidence of this. Well, being an Open Minds commenter myself, like my most esteemed colleagues Mr. Uncle Kev, Mr. Sugden and Mr. Hill, I would have to join them in questioning others, whose perspective and motives in posting such controversy on this extremely significant website are both familiar and, yet, seemingly betraying their own version of a religion.

Mike makes a very valid point when stating that comments posted on this site are not naive. Mr. Uncle Kev, Mr. Sugden and Mr. Hill’s posts most certainly prove that.

Well, firstly, I’d like to apologize to my colleagues Mr. Sugden and Mr. Hill for Mike’s disrespectful behavior. Not only is Mike not walking his talk, but he/she/it is referring to you by your Christian names instead of your “Sir”-names, without the sincere respect any real colleague would use.
Secondly, I’d like to address the importance Mike clutches religiously with regard to “the articles in Philosophical Transactions.”
Mike – as I’m sure my fellow colleagues already know (but for Mike’s benefit) – is referring to The Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, founded in 1665 by people whom defecated without plumbing in the dark because flames mixed with heaping sources of methane show us all today just how insightful and intelligent our now Limey allies (but recent racial cast offs) were (See Winston Churchill and The American Race).
The Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, in its hey days (hey, Mike!), included such greats as Isaac Newton (the man who invented the primitive reflective telescope [which we’re still stuck with after how many hundreds of years?], wrote the Principia and allegedly discovered gravity, but seems to have since misplaced gravity because he didn’t tell the public how this force was generated or how to manipulate it to our advantage – he died in his sleep, but recent discoveries do improve his reputation as he was clearly coming to recognize, know, love and respect Our Lord and Savior, The One [even Grays refer to Him as The One] True God – kudos to you, Mr. Uncle Kev) – BUT, let’s not forget Charles Darwin of The Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. While clearly onto something that might be very probable over ridiculous periods of time, regarding lower life forms, Mr. Darwin’s theory seems to keep bumping into this missing link/brick wall that turned bipedal animals into thinking, Soul-packing Man overnight… Interesting.
And finally, my favorite excuse for the police state of so called scientific laws we in the public are bound by… Faraday… Michael Faraday! Did his conclusions match his facts? Look up a man named Joseph Newman. You’ll see all the proof you need. The only reason he hasn’t been killed is: #1 – he’s been too high profile for too long (he was even on Johnny – before your time, Mike – he was the King of Late Night, before late night TV was no longer worth watching by adults like Mr. Uncle Kev, Mr. Sugden, Mr. Hill and myself); #2 – he’s starting to grow his hair, forget his shoes, forget shaving, bathing and begun playing the “analogue” guitar, all like Mike. But I digress (I suddenly sense a fan of magic, dungeons and dragons and knights of old gnashing his rotting minstrel teeth).
Let’s ALL look at whom Mike is supporting today regarding this article by the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society.
If you go to their website, it is “conveniently” overwhelming in its “clarity” of membership (you’d have to be more bored than a windmill in a vacuum to research it all)…
…It states at the top, “There are approximately 1,450 Fellows and Foreign Members, including more than 75 Nobel Laureates (PDF). Current Fellows include Jocelyn Bell Burnell, Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking, Harry Kroto, Tim Berners-Lee, Paul Nurse and John Sulston.”
Fascinating – it’s a Who’s Who of status quo supporting hucksters who sneer at the UFO topic under the instruction of their Bilderberg Group masters – especially the much over-rated Stephen Hawking whose Big Bang Theory not only failed to explain where the alleged singularity that exploded came from in the first place, but is now being used to light the way to String Theory and M Theory proposing that parallel universes collided to spark our own. Where did these universes come from? How did it all start? None have a clue. The deeper down the rabbit hole they fabricate, the more they continue to deliberately obfuscate the natural infinity that reality represents, because their mission is in desperately trying to disprove the infinite; God Himself. “FASCINATING.”
The Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society website goes on to state, “Individuals who are not eligible for election to the Fellowship in the conventional categories may be eligible for election as Honorary Fellows. Seven Honorary Fellows have been elected to date. Before 1996 some Fellows were also elected under the former Statute 12 arrangements.”
Now who in Hell is bored enough to look all that up, when all Grown Men know we’re all victims of (and itching to fight against) the Psychological Warfare Effort established against the public some 50 + years ago by our own government, that then opened the door for and spawned a secret world government of bankers whom have destroyed our world since. If such wasn’t true they wouldn’t have just broken the sound barrier and gone to the moon and suddenly stopped by now, but would have gone faster and further – but they didn’t – not as far as any of us have been told – but, US Esteemed Colleagues kind’a have other sources of information, don’t we, Mike. Your precious establishment should have also cured cancer and given us more freedoms thru technology by now as opposed to separating family members with TEXTING, TREATMENTS and other such non-emotional / and terminal inducing options.

Mike cites his conveniently “recent” poll figures posted by a more state run media, established well after any vestige of the free press was gasping to get any real news out, in order for Mike to help us ignore the last most honest poll results that have since been suppressed by our new state run media.
The more accurate figures are available from older online articles by CNN, Rutgers, The Wall Street Journal, etc. All pretty much say the same thing. The vast majority of the American Race and Man believe the US Government is lying about UFOS, Aliens on our planet abusing our people and advanced technology withheld from the public which is the property of the American Race and Man as a whole.
And we who know, all, realize just how awesome God truly is because He created an infinity full of intelligent thinking beings of infinite types, most of which don’t happen to get along, obviously. But I’m certain that’s part of a much grander plan than any one of us can imagine. Don’t you feel that way, Mike?
