The Science Channel to premiere new UFO shows at UFO Conference
The Science Channel has partnered up with the International UFO Congress in Scottsdale to screen episodes of their new UFO TV show Close Encounters, which features some of the conference’s speakers. The screenings are free and open to the public, and are meant to help promote the Science Channel’s Are We Alone month in March.
According to the Science Channel, Are We Alone month is focused on the “search for answers to bold new questions about mankind’s search for extraterrestrial life.”
That makes Close Encounters a perfect fit. The show examines some of the most credible and mysterious UFO sightings ever to be investigated. The show’s website says, “These are the stories that have captivated experts and researchers’ imaginations.”
Some of the experts featured in the show will be speaking at the UFO Congress. These screenings will be the first chance for American audiences to see the show. Close Encounters will premiere on the Science Channel on March 4.
I am 67; I saw a UFO up close and personal in a Kansas Cornfield as a kid of 14; in August 1961. They are REAL dammit…COME CLEAN Obama!!
I would like to no what cable outlet the science channel will be on! Comcast? The internet? Viewing information?
Recently I watched and read about UFO’s. I noticed that in most cases witnesses describes:
Electromagnetic forces:
tingling and numbness – Can be recreate by high freq. high voltage (Tesla Coil)
object lights – Can be explained by high voltage ionization (Electroluminescence).
magnetism – per se
Innercia passive:
acceleration – theory of Electrogravitics.
Other:
object over water – need for deuterium
mild radioactivity – fusion reactor
Lets try to remove improbabilities from it now….
Okay Dirk dude. There was a sighting in Kansas City, Kansas August 12th, 1961. If that is the exact date that you remember. Then that’s all the evidence I need.
That is so neat that Dirk Feldspar’s sighting could be one on record! I would be blown away knowing something I saw ages ago ended up being a recorded event! I’m with you Billy Cluff, that’s all the evidence I’d need too! I hope some day he answers you!

OMG, I absolutely LOVE the Science channel! I am so glad that we finally have a channel to help prove the FACT that we are not alone in the universe. And as Jodi Foster said in Contact, “If we are the only life out there? That is a massive waste of space!” Keep em coming. I can’t WAIT for We Are Not Alone month!!!
The Canadian UFO case with the boy watching a UFO in his back yard is interesting because it shows these craft can produce a force field of sorts which might protect them from anyone shooting at them although I wouldn’t want to try it as that force field could also be directed at the shooter with bad result, also why the hell does the Science channel keep the reminder of upcoming shows on the screen when they keep advertising the same shows on the commercial spots ? it’s very distracting and not needed by the network but other programs don’t do this why are they doing this just on the UFO shows ? very rude on their part.
I live in central Florida. I never seen a ufo before January 1st of this year 2015. And have not told anyone except my mom and my 11 year old son. Because they live with me and have seen and counting to see everything I see. I was not sure I first I thought my eyes were going bad or there was something wrong with me. I really did not believe it until they confirmed the same. I would like a profession to contact me if there willing. Here’s why. Since the start of the year. I have seen many ufo’s of all shapes and sizes every night between the same time. I’m not going to get into the number or all the things that’s been happening the last three months to me and my family. However am willing to provide enough proof to convince a expert to come out and witness for their self. I will say, that once I showed a interest in them and using different methods to get there attention. They have showed a great interest in me. And every night, is very event fully night. The only reason am asking for a expert now, is I have been afraid to talk about them and even more to take pictures of them. I was afraid that they would stop coming around and it has been such a excited right not only for myself and my mom, but for my 11 year old son. What changed my mind, just three days ago I attempted to take some pictures with my cell phone, and the reaction was the opposite. They would flash and light up and gather for me, like telling me. Yes take pictures. I should say yes this is at night over for the most part a three hour window. Well for the last three days of taking pictures, they have gathered, in guess you can say posing. I down loaded a thermal app to my galaxy S5. And that has takin the best pictures I can with what I have. I jave taken hundreds of them, but want a expert to go through them to do what there able to do with cleaning up thermal images, I just moves the sliding bar to the different color spectrum and kept taking pictures. Since I know nothing of this kind of photography. I don’t want to mess with them. my on going story and experiences is a on going event and nothing else that I can find on the Internet can even compare. I’m not asking for anything and not want any of my family’s info released. My motives for asking for help. Is only to bring in a expert with better equitment an technical knowledge to document them not only for my record, but I feel that they want everyone to know there hear and watching over us. That’s the best way I can say it simply for now. I want to assure everyone am not a head case and making this up, I would say I wish this was not happening to me and my family, but that would be a lie, the truth is am honored that they have chosen me to be apart of this, I’m hoping I can find someone that will feel the same way. I’m hoping for a fast response.
