Physicist says some UFOs are ‘supremely advanced technology’

Eric Davis is an award winning physicist who makes no bones about his belief that some UFOs are “definitely the craft of a supremely advanced technology.” He spoke at the Mutual UFO Network’s Symposium this weekend on the topic, and in an interview with Huffington Post writer Lee Speigel, Davis discussed why scientists are hesitant to talk about their interest in UFOs.

Davis specializes in real-life space warps, such as those theorized in science fiction movies to zip spaceships around the galaxy. He won an award on the topic from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His study was titled, “Faster-Than-Light Space Warps, Status and Next Steps.”

Davis told the Huffington Post:

There are scientists who are aware of evidence and observational data that is not refutable. It is absolutely corroborated, using forensic techniques and methodology. But they won’t come out and publicize that because they fear it. Not the subject — they fear the backlash from their professional colleagues. The impact on their career might be detrimental and they’d get bad publicity.

Several scientists spoke this weekend at the Mutual UFO Network’s annual symposium held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The range of disciplines the lecturers specialize in included not only physics, but chemistry, sociology, psychology, history, and even theology. There were no startling revelations at the conference, but there was a lot of very cerebral contemplation on the subject of UFOs that was very interesting and refreshing for a field fraught with speculation and wild unsubstantiated claims.

Jan Harzan, the new International Director of MUFON told the Las Vegas Sun newspaper,” We hope to bridge the gap between science and Ufology.”

The gap Harzan is referring to is an issue Davis feels needs to be resolved. When asked by the Huffington Post about the perception that legitimate scientists would not touch the subject of UFO’s, Davis replied:

They’re wrong, naive, stubborn, narrow-minded, afraid and fearful. It’s a dirty word and a forbidden topic. Science is about open-minded inquiry. You shouldn’t be laughing off people. You should show more deference and respect to them … Scientists need to get back to using the scientific method to study things that are unknown and unusual, and the UFO subject is one of them.

Scientist are suppose to be the brave ones. They must answer the questions that are not answered. Not only UFOs but even the paranormal are outside the bounds of science. It seems to me that if they got their spines back they could settle this once and for all. At least to the point were we know if they exist and are craft. The thing is it can be done right now. There are places in America where UFOs are nightly phenomenon documented by hundreds of people. Most of us in the UFO community know about these places. What is real interesting it has been reported that scientist have visited this ranch and witnessed UFOs for themselves and have never come forward. Can there be any greater shame than ongoing phenomenon that will not be examined? But it is easy to judge scientist but in the light of the chances of being burned at the stake (loose your career) I understand their hesitancy.
However you can’t stop this investigation one UFO is a alien craft world has changed the world forever for the good of humankind. Making us smaller is always a good thing.

What is promising is the change in attitude to 60 years ago, the sightings will not stop and the more evidence (particularly major sightings with multiple witnesses) will be there to show scientists there is something to be investigated seriously.

This explains what the ‪#‎UFO‬ cover-up is really about and Why most UFO Researchers are Hypocritical. http://www.nationbrothers.com/blog/why_ufo_researchers_are_hypocritical

The only reason anyone would fear speaking about some issue such as this would be an extreme insecurity about their frame of reference. If a scientist is secure, is confident in the data he is versed in, he should not fear speaking knowledgeably about it. This “fear” ridicules our entire concept of knowledge.

At this moment, I am in a state of doubt that Alien and UFO exist though I still don’t disregard the possibilities of their existence. I can think that if they exist, they have a very advanced technology, more advanced from us as they can travel space easily unlike us.
