Ohio witnesses saw ‘alien’ run across the road

A husband and wife in Highland County, Ohio claim they saw an alien run across the road.

The incident occurred on the night of Friday, December 12 near Carmel, OH. According to her testimony provided in a report filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the wife describes, “On Friday night (the 12th), we were driving home. After turning on Carmel Road, which leads to our road, we went around the curve by the Carmel church and then up a small incline and approximately 10 feet over the incline and in front of our truck, the ‘alien’ ran across the road and into the woods.”

This unexpected and unidentifiable creature left the witnesses perplexed. The wife further describes:

My husband saw it. He is a skeptic – almost 60 years old – and a proud Marine. He wouldn’t have admitted to seeing it if he hadn’t been in shock. I had him draw it for me when we got to the house. He says it was asphalt gray (our asphalt is gray) and about 7 feet tall, no arms that he could see, but muscular in the legs area; no jawline, and its legs were bent backward and it leaned forward as it ran.

Although the filed report doesn’t explicitly say it, the witnesses allude to their supposition that the bizarre creature they witnessed may be extraterrestrial in origin. The wife seemingly suggests that their property has been the site of UFO activity. She describes, “We recently bought a place in the Fort Hill area (in southeast Highland County). We first noticed after about 30 days of living here that we suddenly have a perfect circle that stays fresh green, no matter what weather, in our front yard.”

Ron McGlone, a MUFON investigator, provided the sighting information to local media outlet The Highland County Press. He states, “I would like to get this information out in your area in hopes that maybe someone else has seen it – or that their giant cross-bred ostrich got loose – or something!”

  1. I’m really not a skeptic, but I think that ring she speaks of may be septic.. Yes, bad rhyme.

Anyway I really do believe the “ring” in the lawn which the wife states makes a “perfect circle that stays fresh green, no matter what weather, in our front yard” may be because of a septic tank. I have the same thing in the yard of my country cottage. Human waste makes for a wonderful fertilizer.

  2. What he is seeing is the bottom half ghost of a person blown in half during war

  3. Our eyes are very clever things – they are evolved for good central vision – and are surprisingly good at detecting movement at the edges of vision.

However, that means that our eyes play tricks on you – particularly if you are moving (in a car or running) and see things out of the corner of your eye – and then move your head to look – things appear to move as the centre focuses in.

It’s much more likely to be a visual trick – especially if there has been talk of UFOs – the rational mind takes over and creates a narrative.

The discussion of the green ring on the ground just underlines the thought process going on with this couple in their new location. When geometric shapes appear on the ground it’s far more likely to be the result of old construction – buildings, wells, septic tanks (as pointed out by others) – causing moisture and vegetation to grow differently. It’s extremely unlikely to be as the result of a saucer landing 😉

Came across this a while back. I really have not formed an opinion one way or another since it truly is so very weird.

  5. Nah there are vids on the internet of that species of allien.. their knees bend the other way and they walk disjointed.. I think they have arms but keep them to their side when moving because they just wave around and “gimble” distort their walk even more.. search alien species and then follow that type alien and you will see them move.. we best get our minds around it, because soon the world will come to accept that many different types of aliens have been here, are here and will come, as they reveal themselves more and more everyday. Some coexist or peaceful acceptance seems necessary for sanity and survival’s sake.

  6. 2014? 2013? State the year. For that matter, state the time… Friday night, huhh? Coming back from a night out, were we?! Maybe not enough light to illuminate the entire figure clothed in black, perhaps?

  7. People see these beings all the time, most never report them. I saw one for at least a minute (which is a very long time to witness something like that, despite how it may sound) and live-blogged it on Facebook. John Michael Greer is so convinced of their existence that he believes that sightings of them will eventually wear away at the current nihilism fad. People have been seeing them for thousands of years and there are dozens of different names for them- I guess the current one is “alien.” Incidentally, skeptics troll paranormal sites because they are lonely and filled with self-loathing and want to bully people they feel are of minimal status, not because they have any particular confidence in their belief system.

  8. I’m the wife of the marine that saw this thing. “Sam I am”, the year was 2015. Out we were, probably coming back from the VA after cancer treatment for my husband. We do not drink, thank you. His head was facing the road “PK”, he was driving. He has always been a skeptic. “Seeing is believing,” He says. He saw, I didn’t. I had my face buried in my phone, texting my daughter. The look on his face and the way he said what he had seen, made a believer out of me. I couldn’t give two shits if anyone else believes it or not. I was the only one who reported it or talked about it. He refused. He said it was his blessing and he wouldn’t share it.

  9. Also, our septic is up on the hill about 40 feet from the 1st ring and 150 feet from the second, third and fourth.
