A New Jersey witness at Vernon reported watching a low flying, “huge” triangle UFO that quickly faded and disappeared from view, according to testimony in Case 73418 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was camping in Vernon on September 15, 2014, and returning to his tent when the incident occurred.
“I just decided to take a gaze up at the sky because it was really clear out and out of nowhere I noticed this huge black, long triangular craft with several steady white lights,” the witness stated. “And it appeared to be the bottom of the craft.”
The witness described how the craft moved.
“It seemed to slowly just creep along the tree line. And once it reached the treeline out in front of me, it just seemed to fade out and disappear.”
The object was very large and was silent.
“This thing was giant. Like a flying aircraft carrier and it made no sound. Was that low and just disappeared does not make sense.”
The witness provided investigators with a sketch of the object. No photos or videos were included with the report, which was filed on December 30, 2015. New Jersey MUFON Chief Investigator Ken Pfeifer is investigating.

I have also seen similar crafts, in September 2015 @ around 10:30 pm, they (approx 8 crafts), appeared apricot (illuminated orange with lights underneath and not all the same colors… They were perfect triangles but the appeared to be close ended, rather than open ended. They were to far up to be sure. They flew in formation, silently. We turned our heads to open a gate and they completely disappeared without a trace or a sound. How is that possible? I know of nothing man has created that is quite that stealthy! It was as if they realized we had our eyes on them.
2016 may be the year that we of Planet Earth summon the courage to collectively examine and/or make contact with extraterrestrial craft regularly appearing in our skies. Even the most adamant skeptics of our world are finding it more difficult to deny increasingly more frequent and more reliable sighting events. Of what are we afraid? What do we have to lose? What’s astonishing is that on August 2, 1965, at 9:30 PM, I saw virtually the identical object as depicted in the drawing on the front lawn of my parents house in Teaneck, New Jersey. It was a ‘chevron’ with rectilinear sides, as the drawing shows, and differed from the drawing in having only one large circular area on one ‘wing’, as opposed to five. I had been alerted by a newscast on WINS 1010 New York, about sightings in the Four Corners region of the Southwest. I quickly raced out to the yard with binoculars, and in about 15 minutes saw this strange object swiftly pass across my line of sight from the rooftop of our parents house to the treeline.
These craft if real(can we shoot one down?)have to be U,S. GOV.They do not follow FAA rules.Only U.S. GOV CRAFT could get away with that.IF they are not official U.S. gov craft;then the United States has been invaded.
The variety of craft shapes and characteristics Suggests subterfuge.Someone is playing a game .
Arent those US craft which just havent been disclosed yet? Pretty sure if you look about you could find it to be something else but if you did see it years ago then I am at a loss.
The day is close when some politician is going to spill the beans about what the government really knows. Take it from someone officially gagged by the Australian Government when we sent in some underwater shots of a definite UFO. Mind you, Ms Clinton may be brave enough to be the talker!
Ms Clinton may be the one to break the US and Australian governments clamshell on information! I hope so.
i have seen exactly the same craft at night i was with a friend July 2002 or 2003 in Syros island Greece. the lights were similar to stars but not exactly stars, craft was triangle and it was moving a bit faster than a plane. I found an article few weeks later that something similar appeared in the US.

The thought that UFOs are ours is believable. Maybe they are being used against us in some fashion. As to their disappearing in front of you, I filed a report (nonpublished at my request) with UFOs NW about a grey disc hanging in the early morning sky appearing to be just over the trees that were 100 ft away. This disc (maybe a tad larger than the size of a quarter held at arms length) went through some pretty amazing light bulb routines as though sending a message then disappeared right before my eyes by first turning to a mirror like appearance reflecting the blue grey of the sky then “evaporating” from bottom right to top left It was gone from view, but I believe it was still there.” I also saw a triangle UFO flying at 6 pm in Dec, 2014, I think, and it crossed over low in the sky where I was driving so I saw it very well. It was moving so slowly I could have run across the field under it and kept up. This had a cockpit with someone in silouette driving it, and it had five big round white lights under it, flush to the undercarriage, which covered nearly the entire bottom. It was a few hundred feet off the ground. On both of these sightings, I was flabbergasted as I had seen neither at any time before. Filed Mufon report, Phoenixville, PA 45412 on the triangle.

James / James OConner – obviously the same person. Look here dud, most of these UFOs are low flying in close regions such as this which means they are actually flying under radar. It’s obvious you’ve never flown or flown in a plane smaller than a jet liner. I have my own private pilot’s license & worked with the military for 8 years – not to mention a number of friends are with the air force & I have three uncles whom fly commercial jet liners – the radar is not ground to sky concrete, not missing a single “dot”. There’s plenty of times when aircraft – man made or UFO – can easily evade detection … stealth vessel or not.
I have seen the same ship over Houston Texas it was slowly hovering South over memorial city hospital right after the buildings construction. They had four flood lights on top of the building shining into the sky which is what helper me notice the craft. It was hovering over the hospital when it passes through the flood lights illuminating it and just after it seemed to turn transparent with the sky and disappeared. It made no sound and seemed to hover slowly me and a friend of mine had seen the craft It was back in late 2010 possibly October
I am wonder ing if there are ANY FOLLOW-UPS done in recent time to any of these UFO reports? I’ve been to several MUFON lectures. they NEVER talk of recent follow-ups. the one in teaneck new jersey is a very famous one. I’ve heard of these very large triangle shapped UFO’S. my questions are…….. where do they come from? Why doesn’tthe government take it more seriously? who is flying them? and what is it they want from us???? those are typical questions. I myself have seen one of these crafts. I KNOW FOR A FACT they are NOT of this world! they keep saying “THEY POSE
NO THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY” but yet NOONE knows

It was 1980 or 1981 when my Mom, my five year old brother and myself at 15 years of age saw something in the sky and for the past 10 years or so I have googled a number of different things to find out if someone else saw what we did. I took a chance tonight and googled a variation of words and wound up on this page. The minute I saw the picture my entire body broke out in goose bumps as I recognized the UFO. Here is our story. We were driving home from the rockaway mall heading to our home in Vernon. It was after dark and we were still a good distance away. Back then, there were a lot of open fields and I was gazing out the window when I noticed a steady light, far enough away that it could have been a plane but I noticed there were no blinking lights like planes generally have. I pointed it out to my Mom and said look, what is that. We watched it move across the field until we passed. Now, the roads tend to be very windy and bent. About three minutes later, I see the same thing coming at us again from the same direction. Kind of like it was a deja vu. Same light, heading in same direction only in a different place. My Mom and I were like what the hell. With that we saw lights coming from the other side of the road in the distance and we knew pretty quickly they were helicopters heading our way towards the light. We watched as we drove and that was the end of that. We talked about what it could have been and continued on our way home. As we were pulling up to the stop light in Hamburg which is just outside of Vernon. We saw a large black V with lights underneath and it was right above the treetops. We knew this is what we had see in the field. I cant’ express how we knew, we just did. It looked exactly like the picture above. We stopped and got out of the car. My Mom on one side and me on the other while my little brother cried and screamed in the back seat and kept telling up to get back in the car. We couldn’t. We just stood there with our mouths hanging open and watched as it moved very, very slowly over our heads and it never made a sound. That’s why when I read the article with the picture I knew it was the same thing we saw over 35 years ago. It was one of the most incredible things I’d ever seen. The only people I ever told were family members and very close friends. I knew they’d be the only ones to believe me. Soo glad I finally came across a similar story in the same area. Pretty cool.
