Hoboken triangular UFO video

We recently received this UFO video from a reader. He captured this video on October 22, 2012 in Hoboken, New Jersey. He used a Yukon Pro night vision monocular with a mini Eagle Eye camcorder attached.

He writes:

It was not a plane in my opinion and appeared very high up, silent and no blinking lights. As you can see it has an odd configuration, sort of a backwards wedge with one in the lead. On close study I think you can see thru the object so maybe its several objects in a flying formation? I wish it was clearer but the Eagle Eye is a grainy recorder.

Let us know what you think in the comments below.

  1. Great video, nice to see some ‘definition’ as opposed to pitch black videos with three lights. Your video reminds of another night vision video of a wedge/triangle apparently shot over my country, Ireland. Think its on you tube somewhere.
    Good stuff, keep it up
(we don’t see many UFOs in the Irish skies – too much rain clouds! 😉
    P.

  2. Its an aircraft, most probably a Black Projects aircraft. My Sister and I saw the same thing perhaps 20 years ago while hunting for Meteors late one night. It was at very altitude and moving very fast in a SE to NW direction. We both caught it in our 7X50 Binoculars as we scanned to the west of the Perseus clusters.. All lights on the craft remained at the same intensity level and we did not see any red, green or white strobes normally associated with commercial aircraft. No anomalous motion was detected nor were there any accelerations or decelerations noted during the craft’s transit across the sky. The craft held a lateral track and did not deviate from that track. There was no Moon in the sky and the sighting I believe took place in late Summer.

  3. I spent my younger years as a navy pilot (S-3 Vikings). One possibility that occurs to me: Night air-to-air refueling practice. You would see the tanker in the lead, the receiving aircraft in trail, and other planes in the formation waiting their turn to get fuel would be off to one side. In the navy, we’d typically do this at, say, 15,000 feet, and the tanker would maintain a ‘racetrack’ pattern, with long straightaways and very shallow turns at each end. Impossible to conclude from this footage that this is definitely what it was, though. Can’t make out anti-collision lights (those are the blinkers you see on planes), etc. The lights seem to be flying pretty straight, with no physics defying maneuvers, such as what UFOs are often described as doing.

  4. There are many many videos of UFOs out of Mexico that are travelling in formation . I think this more likely a cluster of UFOs, not just one object because light from the stars are not diminished or covered up when the object(s) pass in front of the stars. Of course it could also be light bending technology. But it should not be assumed it is just one object.

  5. Unfortunately it seems to be a flock of birds. when stopping and pausing you can actually see the body surronding the light (heat of the the body) but definitely moving wings.
