The Gaines story sounds credible. I don’t think Blue Book had the resources to interview the many people who just saw some “lights in the sky” phenomena. Since the source was a letter from the 13 year old Gaines, this looks like he (Gaines) was targeted as part of a disinformation effort. I doubt that Rupelt would be casually carrying around any photo of a dead, autopsied alien entity.

Gainses’ father is incorrect about how secrets are kept, by threat of death including death to all family members. While the threat of death is a strong motivator, it won’t stop someone who is dying from spilling the beans, especially if they have no family. ET secrets don’t exist, since there is no need for secrecy, just LET people blab away what they know. The claims will be too fantastic to be credible, especially without hard evidence. After all this time, it is curious that no one has smuggled out any hard evidence, death threat or no. It may be entirely probable that ET has a way to keep the good stuff sequestered from the general population, since human security measures are fallible.

    Thanks Alejandro

  2. It sounds credible to me because he echoes exactly how I felt the one time I saw a UFO – and echoes what happened afterward. It was on the ground when I spotted it about 2 football fields away off to the left of the highway and three ??? short, very thin, lanky, slightly luminescent, silver gray creatures were standing outside it … the excitement, incredulity, amazement – the kind you want to rub your eyes and are thinking “am I actually SEEING this” but my feelings were mixed with fear, no, terror because I was alone on a dark lonely road and instead of embracing it I made a U-turn and ran – it followed and I pulled into the first house with a light that I saw banged on the door and a woman in robe answered the door with “you saw them didn’t you?” We reported the “incident” to the Sheriff’s Dept. AND to Moody AFB – I wanted to know if they had any tests going on, any strange radar blips, unexplained phone calls, etc. and she and I talked til daybreak with her telling me some very strange stories about the woods in the area, the lake/bay etc. Early early next morning AF base sent two representatives to interview me and they found my car battery was dead and the electronics fried (brand new 76 Mustang II) – they were professional but dubious and CLEARLY skilled interrogators and CLEARLY wanted me to say I was drunk or stoned or on drugs. Questioning how much sleep I’d had, what I had eaten earlier, had I had any alcohol – it was like they were blaming me for what I saw. They wanted details about what I saw and I even drew it for them labeling colors and impressions, DETAILED drawings. They used my drawings to try and trip me up – exactly like Gaines – so you saw a red light — no no wasn’t red — as an adult I picked up immediately on what they were trying to do and called them on – quit trying to make me change my story the truth is the truth – if you don’t lie you never have to try and remember something. Like Dr. Gaines, I drew and drew and drew, I filled a journal with my thoughts, fears and feelings – like Dr. Gaines they kept trying to trick me into changing my story or admit something that just plain was not true but like him I stuck to it because it was the truth. It has haunted me for 40 years and I have spent years wanting another chance. I’ve planned hiking, camping and vacation trips around my quest – I am older, much older and have faced my mortality many times since then so I am no longer afraid — but like him also, my own family thought (and still thinks) I was nuts. My uber Christian mother and sister believe we are it – God stopped with us (as if THAT makes sense LOL). Anyway thought I’d share.
