A video posted this week on YouTube claims to be of a UFO sighting on a remote beach near Waddenzee in the Netherlands. The video shows a bright light zipping around the daytime sky.
The video says the sighting took place on Friday, July 26 in a location over 8 miles from the nearest town. It is posted on a new YouTube site called T QT, which stand for The Quote Today. The About page reads: “The Quote Today shares wisdom of extraordinary individuals from both past and present. TQT does also post about art, music and other things to inspire you.”
The only other video on the page is of Desmond Tutu promoting a T-shirt made to support the Medical Knowledge Institute.
The UFO video shows a group of people having fun as they watch the light. One commenter on the video suggests it could be a UAV and another suggests a remote controlled craft. The group’s reactions do seem to be more along the lines of having a good time watching a remote control airplane, rather than the amazement one might expect from a UFO sighting.
TQT says this is not the only UFO video taken in the area and references an interesting high resolution image captured by the Netherland from Above project, a group capturing beautiful images of the Netherlands from a helicopter. Apparently in one of their videos they got more than they bargained for when a mysterious object zoomed by in front of their camera.
This video was taken on October 23, 2011. Translated by Google translator, the description says:
…We ourselves do not know what it is. Is it simply a bird? A weather balloon? Or something more exciting? Let us know in email@example.com or via twitter (@ nlvanboven). It was filmed between Harlingen and Terschelling, looking south-west (in the distance you can see the Dam). Probably between 16.30 and 17.00…
At first it appears to be just a bird, but Netherlands from Above provides a couple of close-ups in the video that shed some doubt on that theory. Take a look and tell us what you think.
yay fuzzy dot.
