British man says he captured video confirmation of UFO

A man in North Lincolnshire in the UK says he captured a video of a mysterious object he spotted while driving that is “confirmation that this was a UFO.”

Ben Agnew was driving on the highway near Barnetby when he says he began to see strange lights in the daytime sky.

He told the Grimsby Telegraph:

I saw some flashing orbs in the sky as I was heading to work via the M180. I decided to record it as it kept flashing. Once I got to work, I viewed the video and noticed something flying past at great speed. I slowed the video down and found a saucer-shaped disk flying past.

As for the video, he says, “I have confirmation that this was a UFO.”

The video is jumpy, as Agnew was driving while apparently filming with his phone. It shows some dark spots that could be dirt on the windshield and a dark spot in the background which may be the saucer-shaped object Agnew is referring to.

Agnew says, ” I believe UFOs are everywhere but move at too high a speed so they’re not noticed. I never saw the UFO fly past till I slowed my video down. My work colleagues believe me and the video I have.”

Take a look for yourself and share your observations below.

  1. This moron cant even hold the camera in the right orientation. Is your TV sideways at home dipshit?

  2. “Guys come one this is ridiculous, it is quite obvious that it was a small bird flying through the frame and over the motorway. Even slowed down it is in no way a’saucer’. This is seen so many times and it is not a UFO at all. I have investigated hundreds of videos like this and i’m afriad that its a common thing that people confuse birds and insects zipping through the frame quickly, with UFOs. People need to wake up and have a bit of common sense….”

  3. Seriously? I can’t understand why you would report on something like this. It suggests there’s some kind of exciting evidence when there is clearly none. Surely it only serves to weaken your credibility and make people take the whole UFO debate less seriously.

Relax. I don’t think people need to be mad and lash out at the guy, sheesh. He is just some guy who is impressed with a video he shot and the news picked it up. I don’t see what he sees, but I was thinking maybe a reader would. It is interesting how many people get so upset over it. As someone who has taken hundreds of UFO reports, most of which are obvious mis-identifications, I think it is important to treat everyone respectfully. These events are important to them.

  5. I’m not mad/angry, but I do think this is a completely pointless article. The guy confirms himself that its a ufo? (unidentified) Wow. And the video shows absolutely nothing.. Great! And what was the point of all this?
I just don’t see what is “newsworthy” here and from a ufo researcher’s point of view it is a completely dead-end, useless “case”. Want more like this? There are thousands of non-ufo vids and BUG ufo vids all over youtube. Openminds.tv can do alot better. There are FAR better video’s out there that deserve real attention. This is some guy on the motorway, bored as hell, illegally using his phone while driving, who films nothing, and then talks of a “confirmed” ufo. Really? Please.

Alejandro, I respect you and I know you are a serious ufo researcher. Openminds.tv has gained a reputation (with me at least) for largely keeping the more useless aspects of ufo “evidence” out of the spotlight. I believe that there are many MUCH more interesting cases/videos that you could be concentrating on and sharing with us. This one would be better suited to the pages of the UK magazine, The Sun. Thanks for all your work. 🙂

    Best regards

  6. That is the best evidence I’ve ever seen. Of careless driving.

  7. Mr Rojas, I completely agree with Darren, David, and Fin. Your first statement was “Relax” — we ARE relaxed and we’re spending time on your website because we understand the phenomena more than the average citizen and we take it seriously. I’ve heard you guys on talk radio and you do some great research and reporting. Although with my first visit to the site a week or two ago; the first thing I saw was “NBA Player Says He Was Abducted by Aliens” — IMMEDIATELY I knew it was non-sense and my first thought was what David said “…it only serves to weaken your credibility and make people take the whole UFO debate less seriously.” I scrolled down and saw the only comment was from Baron Davis himself and the fact that confirmed it “a JOKE!!!….#geeeeez” really made me chuckle at the expense; not at you, but of the validity of the site. I’m sure that’s not what you want. But that was the FIRST thing I saw on the site! We’re not knocking the guy with this story (most of us aren’t). We’re simply trying to convey that if you’re going to post something on here it needs to be more valid and higher quality. After looking through the lens of more valid and higher quality; if you can’t find enough UFO related stories to put on here – then that means post less UFO related stories. Quality over quantity, because I’m pretty sure one of your goals is to persuade the non-believer into thinking differently. The only reason I say such things is because after this being my 2nd article to read I would seriously consider not returning to the site. So just know that I’m trying to help you out. P.S. And yes, I know the SEO factor of “NBA” and “Knicks” and all that will help bring new visitors but still that story is doing the opposite of what I think one of your main goals is. God bless.

With all do respect, friends. I disagree. What I am doing is reporting news on UFOs. I am not making an argument for this phenomena. I let the veracity of the evidence speak for itself. I also respect my audience enough to let them make up their own minds. I do not want to pick and choose for them. That may cause me to blow off a story you all would like. You all obviously do not agree with the witness, or feel this video is impressive. Fine, move on to the next story. I think this is all much ado about nothing.

In future, Mr. Rojas, please exercise better judgement when selecting stories to cover.

It’s crap like this that stopped me from visiting the Examiner.
