Launched in 2014 as the world’s first exhibition on the phenomenon and research of crop circles in a natural science museum – the “Crop Circle Exhibition & Information Centre” – has found its home this year in the new spacious Honeystreet Mill Café, near Alton Barnes in Wiltshire. After a burglary into the winter storage of the exhibition and the theft of essential parts of the display and technical equipment, the exhibition organizers ask crop circle enthusiasts now via crowdfunding for support for the coming summer.

While the media interest in the unveiling of a secret UFO research program by the US Department of Defense through the “New York Times” is still unbroken, independent researchers are investigating the information and videos presented.

Since it became known in Autumn of 2014 that contrary to the claim that the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) has released all of its formerly secret UFO-files already back in 2013, still 18 files of the MoD’s former UFO-Bureau files were held back, UFO-researchers as well as historians look forward to the release of those files, that has been postponed repeatedly since then.

Recently, the British Ministry of Defence (MoD), in cooperation with The National Archives (TNA), explained that the release of 18 still closed UFO-files of the MoD will not happen before early 2017. Now, Grenzwissenschaft-Aktuell (GreWi), the German news-blog on frontier science and the paranormal, has discovered why the release of these files needs more time.

Canadian astrophysicists have discovered 234 cases of what they call "peculiar periodic spectral modulations in a small fraction of solar type stars,“ which translates as variations in the light-pattern of 234 stars more or less similar to our own sun.

After years of law suits, the Federal Administrative Supreme court of Germany forces the administration of the German Parliament – the Bundestag – to release and give public access to a report on "UFOs, the search for extraterrestrial intelligence and Germany's implementation UN-Resolution A/33/426″ (that asked its member states to conduct official research into UFOs) compiled by the parliamentary "Scientifical Service.“

From the 21st of June until the 31st of August, 2014 the Wiltshire Museum in Devizes is presenting "Exploring the Mystery and Beauty of Crop Circles" as this year's annual Summer Exhibition.
