CITD 2015: Massive lineup of researchers lecturing about UFOs, aliens

Contact in the Desert (CITD) is returning to Joshua Tree, California this month.

This conference is described as “A weekend of exploration into ancient astronauts, extraterrestrial life, human origins, crop circles, UFO sightings, contact experiences, and the need to know.”

2015 will only mark this conference’s third year. But, in its brief existence, CITD has managed to establish an impressive audience thanks to the event’s unique setting and its lengthy lineup of speakers.

Open Minds researcher and journalist Alejandro Rojas will be one of the guests at this year’s conference.

He is scheduled to present a lecture titled “Strange Alien Encounters” on Saturday, May 30 at 7:30 p.m. The event’s website provides the following description of this presentation:

Over the years many people have claimed to have had contact with extraterrestrial beings. Some of the most amazing alien contact stories have come from aristocrats, including royalty and politicians. Other cases have baffled law enforcement and military investigations. All of them are very bizarre. In this lecture, we examine some of the strangest alleged alien encounters and the peculiar creatures these people claim to have encountered. These are cases that have had a major effect on how the public views extraterrestrials, even though most of them have been lost to obscurity.

Rojas will also lead a workshop on Sunday, May 31 at 7:30 a.m. titled “Investigating Aliens: My Most Baffling Case.” In the workshop’s description, Rojas explains:

There is one case that boggles my mind to this day. It apparently included alien abduction, channeling, amazing UFO videos, ghostly apparitions, and a number of other strange phenomena that can not be explained. I experienced some of this first hand. But was it all an elaborate hoax?

In this workshop I will walk you through my participation in the investigation of this case, including my strange personal experiences. I will share with you the credible evidence as well as the details of this case that make me question its legitimacy. This will be an interactive examination of facts and data in which I will ask you for your help to make heads or tales of a case that keeps me up at night. I will share information and details I have not previously shared with the public. Help me take another look at a case that might be the most important alien contact in history, an amazing illusion, or something in-between.

More than forty other speakers are scheduled to present lectures and lead workshops and/or intense seminars. Here is a small sample of the researchers, authors, and personalities who will lecture at the event:

  • George Noory
  • Giorgio A. Tsoukalos
