Stunning video shot April 29, 2012, has emerged on YouTube that shows five minutes worth of fascinating footage of what appears to be an authentic UFO hovering over a hilltop in Russia.

The men’s reactions are totally believable, with one audibly trying to catch his breathing due to excitement (and what sounds like a little bit of healthy fear), as they watch the undulating, rotating, vibrating lights on what appears to be an invisible triangle ship.

The FBI recently revealed on its website that the most searched document is a simple one page memo called the “Guy Hottel Memo”. Its contents were written on March 22, 1950 by Guy Hottel, a special agent in charge of the Washington Field Office, and allude to the crash and recovery of the Roswell UFO. The memo ends abruptly with a sentence stating that no further evaluations were attempted. Major news organizations reported on this document being newly released, but it was actually released under the Freedom of Information Act, and available since the 1970s. Bruce Maccabee was the first to obtain this document, and he believes it to be part of an elaborate hoax.

But MyrtleBeachOnline.com explains that, despite the delayed opening, kick-off festivities still took place on April 4, including special presentations by nuclear physicist and UFO researcher Stanton Friedman who “spoke in the morning as part of a preview tour of ‘Encounters’ and at a public lecture midafternoon nearby at Legends in Concert.”

But Encounters: The UFO Experience is not the only UFO attraction currently in South Carolina. CNN posted a video story on Friday, April 5 about Jody Pendarvis, a one-man extraterrestrial welcoming party. Pendarvis built his UFO Welcome Center in Bowman, South Carolina twenty years ago to “give aliens a friendly welcome to Planet Earth.”

George Kocher of the RAND Corporation published this document in November of 1968, a few months after the University of Colorado completed its Condon Report. The RAND Corp. document is broken into five different essays: Historical Aspects, Astronomical Aspects, The Character of Reports, Phenomenological Aspects, and How to Proceed and Why. These essays explore the types of reports and sightings, how they are categorized, and a list of hypotheses that exist surrounding the phenomenon. The document also provides an example of a detailed UFO report form developed by the University of Colorado’s study group.

That’s because these UFOs are, most likely, a flock of birds. Pelicans to be more specific.

But the International Business Times continues, “But a closer look revealed that the wing-like structures attached to each object do not flap and the rest of the body seem to emit fluorescent light. The objects change the course of flight together making it appear as if they were controlled by intelligence.”

Agreeing with this sentiment, the website UFO Sightings Daily posted, “At first glance I made the mistake of assuming this was a video of seagulls. I was mistaken. Not a single one of them flap like a bird would. These objects appear to be a fleet of UFOs or even possibly DARPA drones being tested in Mexico. Notice how the UFOs or drones synchronise in flight and clearly show that they are controlled by intelligence. They also look a little like the secret aircraft the TR3B.”

Although it’s possible that these UFOs are some unknown mechanical craft, the evidence suggests these eight UFOs comprise a flock of birds. Even Miguel Aguila, the individual who shot the video, describes the objects as looking like birds. But he, like UFO Sightings Daily and the International Business Times cite the noted lack of wing flapping to rule out birds. Several birds, however, have the ability to glide through the sky for extended periods without flapping their wings. The American white pelican is one such bird, and it bears a striking resemblance to the objects in the video.

According to the University of Michigan’s Museum of Zoology, “American white pelicans fly gracefully, spreading their wings and sliding onto the water on their feet as they land. Flight is usually in linear formations or forming a ‘V.’ They flap and glide and may soar on days when they can take advantage of updrafts.”

With everyone describing these UFOs as “bird-like,” if they look like pelicans and soar like pelicans, then they are probably pelicans. And if you’re doubtful, watch these videos of pelicans in flight:
