An Ohio witness at Lakewood reported watching and videotaping a silent, slow moving object on August 20, 2014, that could not immediately be identified, according to testimony in Case 59118 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was returning to work when the slow moving object was first seen in the sky.
“I pulled out my camera and shot video,” the witness stated. “There was movement on the object, but no light or exhaust. Silent.”
The witness uploaded one piece of video with the MUFON report.
Lakewood is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, population 52,131. Ohio MUFON is investigating. Ohio has a current UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. Ohio had 35 UFO reports in July 2014 – the 4th highest reporting state – while California had 104 reports as the highest reporting state. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Possable hi flying hang glider with a flying wing configuration and the pilot suspended below…maybe in a cocoon. It would look much like this from a good distance…There are several power possibilities though most are noisy . but most can be shut off and restarted in flight.
This reminds me of one of the objects filmed in the UK in, I think, 2001. See Youtube, “The Journey: The Anthony Woods UFO Encounter”, starting at about the 31 minute mark. (Anthony Woods has captured many hours of clear UFO footage, similar to the fellow in Milan who is regularly visited.)
Looks like a parasail to me.
This is probably some delivery-type drone as an Amazon experiment. There will be more and more of these as time goes on.The internet will be clogged with sightings, along with all of the elaborate fakes (entertaining tho’ they are). But ultimately, those of us that truly believe that that we are watched by other species aren’t best-served by this.
Re: fakes, funny how every ufo looks different whereas a Nasa probe would look, consistently, kind of the same. Either we are being visited by by a race that has hundreds of different spacecraft or by hundreds of different races with one type.. Unfortunately, the many internet fakers seem to be trying to get themselves a job on the next Star Wars film, whilst genuine people that have managed to grab their phone and film something odd in the sky get side-lined.
And btw, that’s not me, no axe to grind, but I’m fed up with balloons, lanterns, drones and supposed footage of gigantic donuts hovering over Afghanistan.
Believers, let the real truth emerge. Don’t crowd it out with well-meaning crap.
Goodyear just released their new blimp and it was flying around Monday. It is based in Akron not too far from Lakewood.

No anomalistic motion here. Probably a man made object. MUFON should not publish these
sorts of videos. This does not support the extraterrestrial existence argument. MUFON needs
to focus on valid evidence and NOT this sort of video “evidence”.
I have seen these many times. To me it looks like a motorized para-sail. I noticed that the person shooting the video zoomed in a little bit but zoomed out quickly when it was becoming obvious what it really was. These types of video only add scepticism to real UFO sightings. Why MUFON allowed this to post is beyond my guess.
