Sirius filmmakers release Atacama humanoid sex and age

As the days count down to the premiere of the UFO documentary, Sirius, the filmmakers have announced they will release their findings on the Atacama humanoid, bit by bit. Today they have released the creature’s name, sex, age, and more pictures.

The Sirius team is calling the creature “Ata,” and claim that their analysis has revealed that the mysterious humanoid is male and survived 6 to 8 years, post-birth. Their findings are the result of bone density and epiphyseal plate studies. They had previously disclosed that their DNA sequencing studies have determined the creature to be a “humanoid of unknown origin.”

The analysis has been conducted by a “top research scientist at a prestigious American university.” However, they are not releasing the name of the university or the researcher for “security purposes.” They do say they will announce this information, along with the DNA analysis, on or before the premiere of the film on April 22.

The team does not give any explanation as to what security concerns they are afraid of, or why these concerns will be resolved within the next few days. However, this isn’t the first time the filmmakers have noted their concerns with safety. In the movie’s summary, they write that UFO researcher, Dr. Steven Greer, “feels the pressure of an imminent assassination attempt.”

The creature has had several owners since its discovery in Chile in 2003, including a bar owner and a wealthy entrepreneur from Barcelona, Spain. Neither has voiced concerns over their safety for having been in contact with the curious carcass. Either way, the slow release of information, and the curiosity over who may want to assassinate Dr. Greer and why, will surely pique the interest of potential moviegoers and help the Sirius team’s promotional efforts.

As Open Minds reported in an earlier story, a previous analysis by a forensic anthropologist in Spain came to a more mundane conclusion. Several years ago the humanoid was examined by Dr. Francisco Etxeberria Gabilondo, a professor of Legal and Forensic Medicine in the Basque Country University, and a specialist in Forensic Anthropology at Complutense University. Dr. Gabilondo concluded:

Taken as a whole, the proportions of the anatomical structures (skeleton and softer parts), the level of development of each one of its bones and its macroscopic configuration, allow us to interpret it without any shadow of doubt as a completely normal mummified fetus…

The Sirius filmmakers have said they believe the findings in their analysis of Ata will “completely change the reality of human existence.” So far they have only mentioned the findings of one researcher, and for any significant scientific discovery, it is necessary that several reputable researchers and laboratories confirm the findings of the first. The research of one lab may get the ball rolling, but it is usually a long road to scientific confirmation.

The prospect of the Sirius film inspiring the scientific community to take a harder look at the humanoid is an exciting one. No doubt we will be reading about more juicy tidbits in the next few days to come.

Sirius

“Sirius” is a feature length documentary that follows Dr. Steven Greer – an Emergency room doctor turned UFO researcher – as he struggles to disclose top secret information about classified energy & propulsion techniques. Along the way, Dr. Greer investigates new technology and sheds light on criminal and murderous suppression. He accumulates over 100 Government, Military, and Intelligence Community witnesses who testify on record about their first-hand experience with the cover-up. Though he feels the pressure of an imminent assassination attempt, he comes upon an amazing find: a possible ancient E.T. skeleton, 6 inches long, is discovered in the Atacama desert. Dr. Greer, along with his team, backed by crowd funding supporters, travel to Europe to get a sample of bone fragment in order to have an IVY league university run genetic tests on the skeleton. What they find will completely change the reality of human existence.

While on this odyssey, the audience gains a whole new perspective on technology, human evolution, and clandestine organizations who have manipulated and controlled the public for centuries.

  1. This guy (Steven Greer) is amazing in my book. He has done alot of things for the ufo and basically “WANTING TO KNOW THE TRUTH” Community. Keep em rollin Dr. Greer and you KNOW i will be there for the film on the 22nd whether its online or in theatres. Bring it to SLC theatres if you can and read this haha

  2. I’ve been following Dr. Greer and his ‘Disclosure Project’ since finding, on YouTube, the video of the May 2001 Press Conference in D.C. I’m not at all surprised by the recent events in Boston, and the ricin letters. I’m looking forward to seeing Sirius. It’s been a long time coming. Life on Planet Earth is about to get very interesting.

  3. Alejandro Rojas, you seem to be implying that Dr Greer’s stated security concerns may be a promotional stunt when you wrote “Either way, the slow release of information, and the curiosity over who may want to assassinate Dr. Greer and why, will surely pique the interest of potential moviegoers and help the Sirius team’s promotional efforts.”. With this supposition in mind, should your readers infer that you too are complicit in this implied promotional stunt since you’re promoting Sirius on this site as a Yekra affiliate?

  4. Hi Alejandro,
I am deeply concerned about Greer. He has taken millions of dollars from people who have received nothing in return except calls for more donations. Disclosure is always just around the corner. I said before and say it again, Greer to ME is trying to become the L Ron Hubbard of UFOlogy. Hubbard once famously stated that to really amass wealth you need to create a religion. He did just that and shockingly there are a tremendous number of people who believe that his science fiction creation, Scientology, has merit!
Similarly, Greer is creating a following around the disclosure movement and is amassing wealth from it while his donors are asked to continue to give money. If you notice, all of the complimentary statements about Greer come from Greer himself. I heard several people state to me directly that Greer ‘briefed the CIA director personally’, and Greer ‘has heads of state and generals on speed dial’. These are Greer’s own statements. If true then what was the context of those briefs and contacts with ‘heads of state’?
Here is a shocker: I also briefed the CIA director. I too have friends in the Joint Chiefs and been to their homes. I also called and talked to the Queen Mother in England. Left to stand alone Alejandro, those comments make it sound like I am really plugged in! But… I did brief the CIA Director.. when I was an intern in High School in DC and it was my daily job. No big deal. Everyone did it. I know Joint Chiefs folks because I created special models that I hand delivered to them. Since they were personal models they let me come to their house to do delivery. The call to the Queen of England was a DARE in college and I did it and talked to her.
So… Not so plugged in after all am I ? This is how Greer paints himself to the public but he doesnt tell you context. If he calls a head of state and eventually gets through it goes on the resume like its a day to day contact and people end up hearing about it. Greer builds his own legend.
Further you too can be part of disclosure… IF you have a fat wallet. Greer has turned disclosure into a business and led predictably to press releases of major findings available to those who pay.
MUFON’s charter is to undertake the scientific investigate of UFOs for the benefit of humanity… Not to make them pay for the privilege. and what Stephen Greer is doing is contrary to our charter and contrary to the ‘benefit of humanity’. It is completely for the ‘benefit of Greer’.
I have felt this way about Greer for many years. At first I embraced his concepts and then realized that it was just a big business to him. I realize making money in the UFO arena is not necessarily a bad thing. I do it, you do it, and all but we are not strategically releasing information that will then garner more donations and money, and then proceeding to ask for more with more promises. Greer has no interest in true disclosure. He is interested in making this run last for as long as he can. The armed bodyguards at his talks? Likely protection against disgruntled donors! NOT against ‘government entities’ of any kind.
This is just my opinion based on years and years and years of seeing Greer at work. But I do stand by it.
    Marc Dantonio

  5. Marc, thank you for your comments. I have heard similar concerns from others. Many from past donors who did not feel their money was spent the way they intended. Especially those who have donated to the Orion project, which was established years ago, and that many feel has had little to no results. I hope for their sake that this documentary shows them where their money has gone and the fruits of this project’s effort.

Technovative, I am not sure if his security concerns are a promotional stunt or not, but they do serve to help the hype. As for us partnering up and posting the movie, I think even Greer’s strongest critics, such as Marc, would agree he has brought forth some great witnesses in the past. I think he will repeat that in this film. We also do not know the extent of the evidence he has for the Atacama humanoid. For these reasons, I think it is important that our readers have access to the film.

I also feel that extremely important scientific discoveries should be distributed through peer reviewed papers in science journals, and then written about and debated in science news outlets. Just like other scientific discoveries. I do not know that teasing people with the possibility of incredible scientific findings to promote your movie is the most credible method of disseminating the information. Then again television shows do this all the time.

Either way, even in the worst case scenario and the hype leads to poor evidence and a terrible film that does not convince anyone that UFOs are flown by ETs and the government is hiding free energy devices, I know many of our readers are curious and want to see what Dr. Greer has to say. No one has to pay to watch it if they do not want to. I am sure there will be many reviews of the film next week, including one from us.

    Thanks for the comments!

  6. wouldent it be grate if et exposed what a scam most governments are and how the peoples best interests are not a concern to them.

  7. I am so excited for this movie to come out. I think there’s always a chance that a documentary isn’t 100% honest, but if we start doubting every movie that comes out’s integrity then what’s the point of documentary? This doc could be true, it’s within the realm of possibility, and if it is, then it’s a huge game changer for the status of humanity. Thanks so much for keeping us readers informed about this Alejandro. I found a site where you can pre-order the movie, if anyone is interested! http://bit.ly/115SKkE Check it out!

  8. Has Dr. Greer done a comprehensive analysis of this creature with specialists in this field, for an open peer review? That would go a long way to increasing the credibility of this case. Also, has anyone in forensic science attempted a reconstruction of this being as it would have looked in life? I have heard that Dr. Greer thinks the creature is about 900 years old, mummified by being in the Atacama desert sands all this time. How did he arrive at his conclusions about its alleged age at death, and being a post-partum being, rather than a fetus? I am not doubting his results, only wish to hear of his test techniques. We are assuming it breathed air, as we do, and had a circulatory system like ours. What about blood and internal organs? Any mention of them? I know Dr. Greer as a colleague of Dr. James Harder, U.C. Berkeley, and met him in 1991 in Berkeley.

  9. Marc,

It’s healthy to be skeptical, but your assessment of Greer is grossly misinformed, and some of the statements you make are outright false. It’s ironic that you accuse Greer of not providing evidence to back up of many of his claims–despite all the legitimate, documented evidence on his website–yet you offer no evidence or proof that Greer has personally made millions by soliciting donations. The amount of money the Orion Project raised was so meager that it was not even enough to pay for the equipment to do the ‘free energy’ research. What’s more, all the money raised for the Sirius film went straight to the filmmakers and the production process. If you have documented proof of Greer assigning himself or his limited staff ‘stratospheric’ salaries, I would sure like to see it. I know Dr. Greer personally, and I have been on his retreats, and I can vouch for his personal integrity as well as attest to the wondrous activities that occur during these outings. If Dr. Greer were totally motivated by avarice, he never would have left his career as an ER physician. He left his practice over 20 years ago, and he has easily sacrificed 5-6 million dollars in net income. Nowadays, he supports himself very modestly from investments he made during his years as an ER doctor and from his books sales, which aren’t exactly setting any bestselling records. In sum, what he makes now pales in comparison to what he could be making as an M.D..

  10. This may be a human fetus bought/brought from Chile to Spain.
If this is the case, then this is pretty disrespectful.
Only way to know for sure is by doing a DNA test.

  11. I am a medical doctor who worked closely with Dr Greer in CSETI from 1992 through 1997 and I must support the comments made by Marco. Although I have not spoken to Dr Greer in 15 years, the notion that he is getting rich off Sirius and other projects is not credible. His dedication to the contact movement was and still is quite remarkable. During the early organizing days of the Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind Initiative (CE-5 I), the CSETI project that sends UFO investigators out to interact with UFO intelligence, Dr Greer travelled on the average of one to two weekends per month to carry out training workshops. The fees back then were very low. I paid $40 to go out into the field with him. During my West Palm Beach initiation to CSETI fieldwork I saw my first UFO!I can testify that during the early 1990s the ties between Dr Greer and UFO intelligence were so strong, practically every time he conducted a workshop UFOs would show up. This is hard for people to accept who are ignorant of CSETI methods and achievements.

The good doctor from North Carolina was clearly supporting his citizen’s diplomacy effort mostly out of his own pocket. I was working as an ER physician during the same years that Dr Greer was. Because he was seeing trauma cases his rate of pay was higher than mine. If I were deferring the same amount of work that he was, as the result of volunteer efforts for CSETI, it would have cost me at least $50,000 per year in deferred income. Once he stopped being an ER doctor over 10 years ago, his lost income was in my judgment no less $250,000 dollars per year.

I witnessed how hard his wife Emily worked, not only helping to run the CSETI office that operated on a shoestring budget, but also taking care of their 4 daughters ,while Dr Greer was away, either working 12 to 24 hour shifts in a local ER, or travelling to brief high level officials, including CIA Director Woolsey. I know this because I am proud to state that I was a member of the CSETI Board of Directors during the 1990s.

As far a death threats, there is no doubt in my mind they were real. After attending the April 1997 CSETI, “ Behind Closed Doors Briefings” in Washington DC, I received a threatening phone call from a very aggressive stranger who told me plain out that it “would be better for me” if I dropped out of CSETI. In addition my contact team operating in the California high desert repeatedly encountered surveillance by individuals who photographed us and even followed us around as we headed out to our research sites. If readers would like to learn more about these experiences I refer you to my web site

  12. It is revealed in the documentary Sirius that Dr Garry Nolan Ph.D, a geneticist at Stanford University is one of the accredited scientists studying the genetic samples collected from the Atacama Humanoid. His interview, in my opinion is the most compelling. In addition to discussing the genetic study he shares the details of a review of the X-Ray, and CT scans conducted by his colleague Dr Ralph Lachman who concluded that the being lived 6-8 years based on skeletal development.

  13. Peer review of scientific analysis and findings is the only way to build credibility for this matter. Plain and simple.

  14. What a joke!

This dude has been bitching about “governments keeping the truth about UFO`s secret” for years, and now his charging cash to release what he himself claims to “know”. Ha ha!

I`m certain that if every citicen paid “The Governments” 9.90 US each, the same amount these guys are charging to let people watch the movie “Sirius”, “The Governments” would be happy to spill their guts.

The MOD in England by comparison, releases their shit for free.
