Royal Observatory joins search for extraterrestrial life

Royal-ObservatoryLondon’s Royal Observatory will join the Sci-Fi London film festival in an effort to investigate the existence of extraterrestrial life. They are combining their efforts for an event entitled Life, But As We Know It? that will be held on Thursday, October 14th at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.

The festival director explains, “Many people initially come to science through science fiction. We’re happy to stimulate interest in scientific developments like astrobiology through events like this, with a lot of fun en route.”
