The Korea Times recently highlighted two of the country’s “UFO chasers”: Seo Jong-han and Heo Joon.

Seo Jong-han has researched UFOs for twenty years, and feels his “efforts to investigate this phenomenon are meaningful as they can help people prepare for possible contact with extraterrestrial life of higher intelligence in the future.” He is a researcher at the Korea UFO Research Association and the director of the Korea UFO Analysis Center, where he analyzes UFO photos.

Heo Joon is an active UFO hunter who visits UFO hotspots in hopes of filming strange objects in the sky. His dream is to “take an outstanding picture of UFO sightings and put it on the front pages of newspapers.”

Recently, a weekly investigative program that airs in Korea called We Want to Know ran an episode entitled, “Are UFOs coming to Earth?” where they analyzed UFO-related files released by various governments. Korean television also airs a program called Special Investigation Report that is set in the 17th century and follows two UFO investigators during the Joseon Dynasty.
