“Observed (3) dark red lights spaced equal distance, and appeared to be on the same plane. Estimated distance to be within 10+ miles of the east Bismarck city limits. That distance to the east of Bismarck would be relative to being close to Dawson, ND. A 4th light at lower level and to the right of the first light.( Very noticeable dark red lights, size compared to the red light on a traffic light from a distance of a block away.) The lights were viewed in an easterly direction of Bismarck and at an elevation in my opinion relative to General Aviation. The lights remained what appeared to be stationary for 1-2 minutes. Slight cloud cover and one by one starting with the light lowest appeared to make a turning maneuver and disappeared with the exception of the remaining light from the far right. That particular light changed to a light blue color and at a much higher elevation almost in seconds and visually moving in a southerly direction at a speed compared to a commercial airline or faster in my opinion. I have spoken to someone who lives in the Dawson, ND area and he explained of another individual who claimed to see lights in the area in the past.”

“Friend Jon and I were standing outside one night looking for unusual things in the sky over Matheson area. We have seen quite a few odd objects in the last year or so. We heard a loud pop from the sky, almost like a sonic boom, then a firey object flew across the sky from west to east. It left a snake like fire trail behind it. No way was it a meteor or asteroid because they fly straight. This thing snaked.”

“Saw a daylight sighting about 5 miles due west of Sand Creek park in Aurora. It was about two weeks ago. I was riding my tricycle in the park and looking at the clouds. I saw something floating slowly, slower than a regular airplane (I am near DIA airport) as I know airplanes and helicopter fly over my house all the time. It looked like a square frame with a square banner inside it. This is the only way I can describe it. I held up my right thumb and it covered my upper thumbnail halfway. There was NO airplane in front of it-like those airplanes that carry message banners. This banner was the same horizontally and vertically in size. Thank you! Anyone else see this-let me know!”

“I was at my Mom’s house last night on the southwest side of San Antonio, outside talking to my brother around I would say 8:50pm to 9pm when all of the sudden I see a flash of lights, sort of like when someone takes a picture but it was about 4 to 5 of them in a row up in the sky. Mow, this happened very quickly and not just once but about 5 times and not in the same spot. It seemed that whatever it was, it was moving and really fast, within five seconds they were gone. We looked at each other wondering if we saw it or not, which we all did, including my son. Nothing in the news (of course) and no reports of military training in the area by the media, but there had been some observations of military helicopters and airplanes by the Boeing/Kelly AFB site. Just want to see if anyone else saw this here in the San Antonio area?”

“Our decision to move the conference to the Phoenix area, from Laughlin, Nevada was to provide an opportunity for the larger masses to come out and participate and be able to listen to these highly credible speakers,” conference organizer Alejandro Rojas says.

Phoenix, Arizona has its fair share of UFO history, especially with the 1997 Phoenix Lights sightings, and the conference moving to an area as large and accessible as Phoenix makes sense for its future and continued growth.

“The stigma associated with this phenomenon is dwindling, as prominent figures such as Stephen Hawking are announcing the likelihood that life exists on other planets. We hope that people come out and see what this is all about and how they can get involved,” said Rojas.

One thing is for sure — the Phoenix area is in for an experience that is cosmic in size and matter.

6 September 1970, Parana, Poia de Entre Rios, Argentina

At 15:00 on 6 September 1970, young Sergio E. Schlimovich, preparing to photograph the Parana River from the terraza of his home, saw and shot 2 color photographs of a shiny, circular metallic-looking, disc-shaped object flying low in the air beyond an antenna station nearby.

The original photographs, when developed, showed a bright bluish silver domed disc that reflected the sunlight brilliantly as it flew over the city of Parana from North to South at an altitude of some 200 meters. The object emitted a soft humming sound as it flew overhead.

Seconds after obtaining the second picture the object accelerated and heard a loud explosion and the object vanished from view leaving in its place a small cloud of whitish smoke which the wind dispersed before Schlimovich got a picture of it.

The smoothly contoured disc-shaped craft had a very slightly curved convex bottom of a darker color and a bright shiny domed top rising in a high smooth curve from the edge of the object. The top reflected the suns rays brilliantly as it moved. There were no ports, holes, seams of projections of any kind to mar the perfectly smooth surface.

The noise of the explosion was a sharp crack about the magnitude of a gunshot before it disappeared.

Schlimovich used an Italian Bencini camera with Ferrania color film for the pictures.

On Saturday the 22nd of June 1974, at about 14:30 in the afternoon, Mr. Jerma Viita, while biking near his home saw and took two photographs of a large UFO in the sky.

“I was about 1 kilometer from my home and had reached the edge of a small weed. I saw a car, a Citroen, coming towards me. When the car was about 20 meters from me, the noise suddenly stopped, and the car rolled noiselessly several meters and then stopped at the roadside. I was several meters from the car when I saw two persons get out, a man, the driver, and a woman. The woman said something, pointing with her finger towards the sky. I looked in the indicated direction and then saw that behind my back an object of a golden color appeared. I stopped my bike at once. I had my camera around my neck. It was ready and not in the case. I took a picture of the UFO as it made a slight turn. I reset my camera once more and took one more photo, but the UFO had now moved rather far away, its speed having increased noticeably. I was sure the 2nd picture would not come out, as the speed of the UFO by then was rather high. Then it disappeared completely. It looked to me as if the UFO just shrank.”

“I addressed myself to the persons from the car asking them what they had seen. A third person had got out of the car by now. I had not noticed him before. I saw that the number plates of the car were French so I asked whether they spoke Danish. The driver of the car answered that he spoke Swedish. The ma and the woman were Germans living in Paris. The third person was a young boy, a Japanese who was traveling around in Europe. He was on his way to Finland. All three of them had seen the object. The driver of the car told me that the cars motor had suddenly stopped , and so had a cassette recorder belonging to the Japanese.”

“The UFO visually seemed to be a bit different from what it looks in the pictures. To me the UFO seemed to be more round, whereas in the pictures it appears to be more flat. The UFO was of a golden color, but around its edge was something like a powerful greenish hail, not visible in the color pictures. On the craft something like window openings were seen too. We did not see the bottom of the UFO”.

“Our estimates of the altitude of the UFO differed considerably. The German man estimated the flight level to be no less than 600 meters, the Japanese thought about 400 meters, and the woman thought 60 meters. I guessed about 200 meters. In the first picture the UFO is flying about about the speed of a jet fighter aircraft and in the second much faster. There are about 2 seconds between the taking of these two pictures. The entire sighting lasted less than one minute.” Photogrametric calculations made by Skylook researchers indicated a diameter of about 80 feet by 30 feet high. It had 16 window-like structures about 3’ high by 6 ‘ wide with 3’ spacing between them. It covered approximately 2,400’ distance in 2 ½ seconds indicating a speed of about 600 mph. It is estimated to be about 1,200’ distant in the first photo and 3,600’ in the second.

The camera was an Agfa Optima 500 sensor (1:2, 8/24) with automatic diaphragm connected to a photometer.

January 2, 1975, Kauai Sands Hotel, Kauai, Hawaii.

On 2 January 1975, while vacationing in Hawaii, Michael Lindstrom and his wife observed a strange square-shaped object flying in the cloudy sky above. It was 14:45 and they were lying on the beach at the Kauai Sands hotel on the east side of the Kauai Island, when Mrs. Lindstrom spotted the unusual object in the sky.

She watched it for about 45 seconds as it moved slowly down the beach towards her, and then ran down the beach to where her husband was taking pictures and pointed it out to him. It was close enough then for them to see it very clearly.

It emitted no sound as it moved slowly, at about the speed of a helicopter, and diagonally to the direction of the wind. Its shape when viewed from below was that of a square. The center was white or silver in color and it had a black stripe around its perimeter. From the side it appeared to have a dome on the top and bottom. There vaguely appeared to be a row of lights along its upper edge.

It was difficult to determine its altitude exactly, however it was observed below the clouds and above the mountains. It was estimated to be at about 5,000 feet and one mile distant. Lindstrom estimated its size to be about 25 feet from point to point, and it was traveling with one point forward. The UFO passed about one mile inland as they observed it for about two minutes and took 3 color slides on fine grain Kodachrome II film.

A Pentax Spotmatic 35mm camera with a 135mm telephoto lens was used. Extreme “blow-up” of the images confirmed the details mentioned by the witnesses.

April 9, 1976: Nagoya City, Nagoya Prefecture, Japan

At about 12:10, midday, a young high school student, Hirohito Tanaka, 13 years old, from his home in Nagoya City, happened to look up into the sky above, and saw a very dark, domed disc-like machine moving in zig-zag and falling leaf fashion about the sky. He could not see much detail, only noting the strange movement and thinking that it could not be a conventional airplane of any kind known to him.

He went into the house and brought out a small camera with which he snapped 7 black and white photographs before it suddenly flew away. The total observation lasted five to six minutes.

This was not the first time young Tanaka had seen this kind of machine. He had seen and photographed the same or similar machines on October 4th and December 8th of 1975. He snapped 8 photographs of up to 6 similar machines launched by a large cigar-shaped mother craft over his home on September 3, 1975. The small domed objects went into and came out of the larger ship intermittently. Then they all went back inside and the whole affair accelerated rapidly up and out of sight.

April 23, 1978, Nagoya City, Japan

A Nagoya City University student (who requests anonymity) was studying in his room when he chanced to spot a tiny black point moving in the Southern sky, which he thought at first to be a bird or an airplane, but when it approached and stopped at a distance of about 100 meters, he realized it was neither a bird nor an airplane but a dark gray disc-shaped object.

He ran out of his house and saw from the road in front of his house there was a circular object with a dome on top and was about 7 meters in diameter and about 2 meters in height, hovering at 80 to 90 meters above the ground. He ran back into the house to get his camera and in his excitement stumbled down on his way outside.

He took one photo near the garage, and then ran out further into the road and took 4 more pictures. In the meantime, the object moved from SSE to WSW and after decreasing its altitude slightly, suddenly began to ascend and disappeared into the clouds overhead.
